REAR WHEEL DRIVE
Invacare· Storm Series·rear-wheel drive chairs offer a turning radius comparable to that of chairs in their class. The rear-wheel drive Invacare® Ranger X(TM) chair has a turning radius as low as 29.5" measured with 70° tapers and rear wheels in their most forward position, making rear-wheel drive the best choice when driving space is not an issue. BASES SHORT BASE APPLICATIONS
The standard short base should be used for all applications within the following envelope (including the addition of LaBac or Tarsys·recliner/tilt systems as recommended by their respective manufactures):
·250-lb. driver weight limit (inclusive of add-on equipment and seating)
·19" maximum seat depth
·22" maximum seat width (20" and 22" widths only have 19.75" and 21.5" seat-to-floor)
·21" maximum seat-to-floor height
·16.75" minimum seat-to-floor height with 0° tilt
BASES LONG BASE APPLICATIONS
The long base is a longer version of the standard base with 3" added to the front half.
The long base should be used for applications that require deeper seat. LaBac or Tarsys recliners are suitable on the long base. Applications for the long base are as follows:
·250-lb. driver weight limit (inclusive of add-on equipment and seating)
·Seat depths of 20" and over
·22" seat width maximum (20" and 22" widths only have 19.75" and 21.5" seat-to-floor)
·21" maximum seat-to-floor height
·16.75" minimum seat-to-floor height with 0° tilt
